Yummy Tender Waffles
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 3 egg yolks and 3 egg whites, separate
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- a pinch of cream of tartar
- Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in the milk, the egg yolks, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Whip the egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff. Fold into the mixture.
- Cook in a waffle iron until tender, but not over cooked.
- Serve with fruit and whipped cream.
